Killzone 2 Map Pack

The Killzone 2 Map Pack is set to release on April 30, which means you probably shouldn't bother to check until May1. There are supposed to be some extreme stratigic elements thrown into the $6 maps.

In the first map, Wasteland Bullet, players fight on the outside of a speeding bullet train. And as if that wasn't enough to add to the strategy, there will most likely be overhead obsitcals to avoid.



The second map, Vekta Cruiser, players will navigate the inside of a starship. The experiance has been described as, "claustrophobic." This Experience is caused by heavy fighting in a condensed area with multiple levels. So while you are fighting the person in front of you, you're taking it from the guy three stories above you too.

All in all, this is set to be something that could revolutionize multiplayer gameplay. Only time will tell. But I can already see all the people getting angry when they get knocked out while the train goes under a low tunnel. I'm looking forward to this though. The trailer can be seen here.

Call of Duty World at War Map Pack 2

Now that map pack 1 has been released, I think its time to look at a quote made by a representative of Treyarch. They stated that if map pack 1 did well, expect to see a total of 2-3 packs released for the latest in the Call of Duty franchise. So when will map pack 2 be released? It's still unknown, but we can start calling it map pack 2; after all, if they were creative enough to think up map pack 1, they will deffinatly stick with their theme.
